HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR VISIT

  • Give Yourself Enough Time

    • Allow 90 minutes to 2 hours for your first appointment. If you are getting a volume or mega volume set, please allow 1 extra hour.

    ATTENTION: If you have lash extensions on currently, please let us know so we can schedule additional time for a lash removal service, if needed.

  • The Cleaner, The Better

    • Remove all eye makeup or strip lash glue.
    • Avoid curling your lashes at least 2 days prior.
    • Avoid waterproof mascara 2-3 days prior to your appointment, since it can leave a residue that can prevent extensions from adhering properly.

  • Get Ready To Relax

    • Avoid caffeine the day of your appointment, as it can make it difficult to lie still during the application process.
    • Silence your phone during your service so you are not anxiously wanting to check it and miss out on a great lash nap.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR LASHES

  • First 24hrs:

    • Avoid getting your lashes wet, excessive heat, facial services and tanning beds.

    After that:

    • Avoid touching your lashes.
    • Avoid rubbing your eyes or pulling the lashes.
    • Avoid pressing your face against your pillow.
    • Friction is your lashes' worst enemy.
    • Avoid getting too close to heated oven, grill, or fire pit. When cooking, open oven door or grill lid and wait 5 seconds before approaching to allow heat to dissipate. Excessive heat from these sources may cause the extensions to lose their curl.
    • Avoid waterproof mascara. Lash-safe mascara and eyeliner is ok on bottom lashes.
    • Avoid rubbing the base of your lashes with makeup wipes or other makeup removers as those can get tangled in your extensions and pulled out prematurely. Instead, wash your lashes with oil-free micellar water with your synthetic brush, then wash with your lash shampoo and synthetic brush after.
    • Wash your lashes after any sweating activities, as such activities can lead to sweat residue sticking to your lashes causing them to look clumpy and accumulate dirt on your lash line.
    • Avoid any hair or skin care products to touch your eyelashes as those products can leave oil residue on your lash line and cause them to look clumpy and not adhere properly.
    • Washing your lashes separately in the sink or in the shower after you wash your hair and face is best.
    • Wash once a day with oil-free gentle lash shampoo and synthetic brush.
    • Air dry, then brush through with clean spoolie to fluff them.

Which technique is best for me?

If you are new to lash extensions we recommend that you start with the ANGEL SET. Simply because we have the ability to customize this set to be as natural as you would like! The lengths and mapping will be determined based on your facial features and the health of your natural lashes. After we analyze your lashes we can determine what will be the best lashes for you to keep your natural lashes healthy and have the best retention.

What is the investment?

Eyelash extension services are typically structured as either a full set, which is your initial application and fills, which are your maintenance appointments.

The 'Angel' full set is currently $167.00 and fills are $99.00

The 'Glam' full set is $227 and fills are $119.00

All fills have to be booked every 2-3 weeks. Be sure to check if we have any specials!

How long do lash extensions last?

Our lash extension have a very good reputation of lasting longer than any other. Our clients can enjoy beautiful lashes for 4-7 weeks. When properly applied and cared for, lash extensions can provide a semi-permanent solution to enhance your lashes for several weeks!

Will lash extensions ruin my natural lashes?

When lash extensions are applied by a skilled professional, things such as weight, length and isolation method are carefully analyzed. Ensuring that your natural eyelashes can support the weight of the additional eyelash strands is key. We tend to opt for lighter than usual and more conservative lengths to ensure your natural lashes continue to grow healthy behind the extensions. When done this way, lash extensions do not cause damage to your natural lashes.

Why would I need a touch up?

Lash extension fibers are attached singularly to each natural eyelash so they will shed along with your natural eyelashes over time. Over the course of 2-3 weeks you will notice the lashes look more natural and that's the recommended time frame that we recommend you to schedule a maintenance touch up if you wish to have luscious lashes all the time. For less than a cup of coffee a day, you can have beautiful lashes every day and all year 'round.

How long does a lash appointment take?

Depending on the technique, a full set can take anywhere from 1:30hrs to 3 hrs. A touch up appointment may take anywhere from 1:00hr to 1:45 hrs. We take pride in offering plenty of time to fulfill our appointments. Our goal is to give you a full lash service. Covering 100% of your fully grown lashes and allowing your fragile baby natural lashes to grow freely.

Do I need to remove my contacts?

No, the eyelash glue or the fumes from the glue never reaches the contact lenses in your eyes. However, if you feel dryness or any discomfort from the contacts due to having your eyes closed for a while, then I would recommend you remove them during your appointment.

Can I apply mascara on my extensions?

Yes, however, it is preferred that you do not apply water-based mascara on your eyelash extensions as it will leave them clumpy and will expose them to unnecessary friction from the mascara brush application. If you feel the need to add more fullness, please consider upgrading your extensions to a fuller technique so that you enjoy the most benefits from wearing extensions.

If you must wear mascara please consider that you should only apply water based mascara. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA. Waterproof mascara is too hard to remove and can lead to excessive rubbing/friction of your extensions which, can cause them to fall out sooner and cause gaps on your lash line. Also, take care in washing off all eye makeup. Only use a water based eye makeup remover.

Can I swim, shower or exercise while wearing extensions?

Yes. The bonding agent we use is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim and exercise. However we recommend that you DO NOT participate in these activities within 24 hours after the initial eyelash extension application. This allows the bonding agent to fully dry and prolong the life of your extensions.
