BEFORE & AFTER YOUR LASH LIFT

  • How should I prepare for my lash lift appointment?

    • Do not use any products with oil on your eyelashes 3 days before your appointment
    • Do not curl your eyelashes or wear waterproof mascara at least 24 hrs before your appointment
    • Avoid eyelash extensions up to 1 week before your appointment 
    • No eye makeup including mascara, eyeliner, or concealer before your appointment
    • We recommend taking your contacts out before your appointment, they can be worn after the appointment

  • How should I take care of my lashes after my lash lift?

    • Do not get your eyelashes wet for 24 hours after the service
    • No strenuous activity for 48 hours after the service (exercise, saunas, and more)
    • No mascara or curling your lashes 48 hours after the treatment
    • Do not use eyelash serums or eye creams for 24 hours after the treatment
    • Avoid sleeping with your face in the pillow or pressed against your lashes.
    • Avoid using eye makeup remover containing oil as it causes the lash lift to weaken.

How long do lash lifts last?

An eyelash lift will last up to 4 to 8 weeks. Based on your natural eyelash growth, shedding cycle and aftercare. You may be able to schedule lash lifts every 4 weeks to maintain results.

Will a lash lift damage my natural eyelashes?

No, a skilled lash lift professional will ensure the lash lift is properly done so there is no damage to your natural eyelashes. A lash lift will last the same amount of time as your natural eyelash cycle. It will slowly fade away as your eyelashes naturally shed. As a result, there is no damage to your natural eyelashes.

Does lash lifts hurt?

No, this service is completely painless and relaxing. 

Can I wear contacts during my lash lift appointment?

If you normally wear contact lenses, we recommend to remove them prior to your service as you may feel dryness/discomfort from your contacts due to having your eyes closed the entire time during treatment with them on. But, it is your preference.

How long does a lash lift appointment take?

A lash lift typically takes about 45 to 60 minutes to complete. Your lash artist will ensure the lashes are positioned correctly, then the lash safe solution is applied to mold the lashes into a perfect curl. Tint is optional, even though most clients like to enjoy a darker lash line.

Can I get my lashes wet after a lash lift?

We ask that you wait 48 hours after a lash lift to get your lashes wet. After that period, you can resume your activities as usual. It is very important to follow aftercare instructions after your lash lift to ensure the best results.

Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?

Yes! But, many clients feel that the lash lifts provide a dramatic enough lift and choose to skip mascara. However, if you would like to add mascara you may wear a non-waterproof mascara after the initial 48 hours! The removal of waterproof mascaras may be too harsh and weaken the lift.
